The Sequels - Valyrian 2

Nothing gets us amped up like a highly anticipated sequel to an already ground-breaking piece of hardware. Uwell made waves in the vape community with the perfectly timed release of the aptly-named Valyrian tank. With only one type of no-thread coil, three different 510 connector options, keen crafting, a pop-top fill port and superior flavour, it comes as no surprise that the tank got tonnes of positive reviews from the sub-ohm community.

One of the few complaints we received about the Valyrian tank was the lack of coil selection. With only one coil to its name, you either had to enjoy vaping between 95 to 120 watts or find yourself a different tank. The Valyrian 2 boasts at least four types of coils (so far) for vapers that prefer less wattage without compromising flavour. With the release of the Valyrian 2, we also were gifted with a mesh coil for the original Valyrian tank! Great job, Uwell!

The Valyrian 2 atomizer comes in a rectangular black box as opposed to the two-tiered, transparent plastic tube that we're used to seeing the original Valyrian tank come in. The minimalist black packaging with gold accents seems to be the new Uwell standard, but it leaves much to be desired! It makes it all the more satisfying when we crack open the package to find the shiny 6mL atomizer intact and ready to be filled with eliquid. We like that the tank comes already equipped with bubble glass, whereas the original came standard with a 5mL straight pyrex tube. Upon first glance, one can tell straight away that the Valyrian 2 is unmistakably a Uwell product. There's something about the sleek finish and symmetry that screams the brand name without having to read it.

The most obvious improvement from the Valyrian to the Valyrian 2 is the coil selection. There are four new coil heads available (Single Mesh 0.32ohm 90w - 100w, Double Mesh 0.14ohm 80w - 90w, Triple Mesh 0.16ohm 90w - 100w, Quad Coil 0.15ohm 100w - 120w). The new mesh coils can handle the heat and deliver superior flavour quality from even the sweetest e-juice and still give the avid vaper well over a week per coil.

Uwell put out another great tank but set the bar even higher for themselves. Here's to hoping they can keep adding onto their long list of hardware winners!
