Classy Appearance

Using the Aspire SkyStar, the first thing you’ll notice about the device is that it has an extremely classy and understated appearance compared to many of the high-end vape mods available today. The touch-screen interface of the Aspire SkyStar is interesting. While using the device, you’ll swipe up on the screen twice to adjust the wattage or down twice to enter the menu system. The touch screen is fairly sensitive, but it does fail to register the double-swipe gesture occasionally.

Is the touch screen of the Aspire SkyStar actually worth having? If all that you’re doing is adjusting your wattage, the touch screen is definitely slower than physical buttons would be. On the other hand, not having those physical buttons means that the SkyStar has two less buttons to push accidentally.

The think that makes the Aspire Revvo a unique tank is the design of the Aspire Radial Coil. It’s not shaped like a spring or cylinder as most vaping coils are. Instead, it’s flat and circular like a stovetop heating element. The unusual design of the Aspire Revvo coil allows it to heat extremely quickly and evenly. The coil fires instantly, and it has no hot spots. The vapor also isn’t nearly as “wet” as it can be with other tanks.

In terms of flavor quality, the Aspire Revvo is excellent. If you’re the type who hates drinking your e-liquid, you’ll love the fact that the Revvo produces a very dry-feeling vapor and isn’t nearly as likely to spit as some other tanks can be.

Filling the Aspire Revvo

Another unique feature of the Aspire Revvo is that the spitback guard at the top of the tank also functions as a filling port. You can open the port simply by positioning the tip of your bottle in the center of the port and pushing down. The filling method works best if you have a bottle with a narrow tip.

The fact that the Aspire Revvo has a top-mounted coil also means that the wick is at the top of the tank rather than the bottom as is the case with most vaping tanks. To keep the wick wet, you’ll need to tilt your device occasionally.
