As most local residents know, we have been providing free local delivery with a $20 minimum purchase since the initial COVID lockdown. While restrictions have long since ended, we remain one of the few area businesses who have maintained this service. We still intend to - we know that it is still important for many to social distance and that travel is sometimes an issue. However, it has become increasingly common for our delivery driver to go unmet during their delivery attempts. Because ours is a regulated product, we cannot deliver orders without age verification. This requires subsequent attempts, and is negatively impacting our ability to provide free delivery. Therefore, we are modifying our delivery model as follows:
Should a delivery attempt fail because no adult recipient is present; we will no longer attempt further delivery, but will instead provide a slip with your order number so you can pick your package up curbside or in person at 51 Woodyatt Drive, Brantford, Ontario. Orders will be available the following business day after 12pm.
Additionally, we have adopted an new initiative in partnership with the local health unit to further ensure that all recipients are of legal age (19+). We have therefore implemented a safeguard as outlined below:
In addition to providing proof of legal age (19+), the recipient will now need to sign a copy of their order for us to have on record should the local health unit request to see that proper verification has been done.

1) The additional requirements required by Health Canada and the Brant County Health Unit.
2) The rising costs associated with providing free delivery.
3) Our effort to maintaining delivery at no extra cost for those who depend upon it.
With these steps in place, we will continue to offer Free Local Delivery within Brant County on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for orders placed before 3pm.
